QARTOD Quality Control Tests : Waves : MEAN SHIFT

Breaks the time series into N segments of M points each. The segment means are compared to neighboring segments. If the difference in the means of two consecutive segments exceeds P, the data are rejected.

An significant mean shift occurs in this time series; these data should be rejected.
