NOTES
Tests are performed
by MWAVES, our directional wave sprectra processing
software, in both real-time and post-processing modes.  We don't apply tests
within the instrument, other than flagging a bad measurement.  The
latter is a Boolean decision, not a sliding quality scale as in a Doppler
instrument; either the measurement has the normal accuracy and resolution or
no measurement was made.  We simply record everything as measured and keep
it in the data files with the metadata (that are entered at the discretion
of the operator) and the calibration, configuration, and sampling
information (that are stored automatically).
