Shore Station Hardware - Datawell Buoys

The data acquisition system consists of a Sun Microsystems Ultra 5 or a Sun Microsystems Blade 100 and a Datawell receiver. The dimensions given below include allowances for cabling.

Signal reception

The buoys' transmissions are received via an external antenna, which is cabled to the Datawell receiver.
